Announcements and updates

ChurchNext: Re-planting Conference. CMM is hosting this two-part conference in Grand Rapids, MI on June 9-10/Oct. 6-7, 2012. Its focus is to help churches with plans to relocate or otherwise restart. Questions? Email Randy Bloom.

Satellite church in L.A. Heber Ticas and his team of nine families recently launched a new GCI “satellite” church in Los Angeles (click here for a full report). 163 people attended the opening service. Heber requests prayer concerning raising $15,000 to meet 2012 funding needs.


Church plant in Randolph, MA. Dishon and Afrika Mills continue to engage their community in Randolph, MA through Friendship Feasts, service projects, and other outreach events. Here is an interview with Dishon:

 


Church plant in New York City. Mary Bacheller is preparing to start a small group for deaf people in early 2012. This is in preparation for starting a new church exclusively for people who speak American Sign Language.
